It's been...

Or: How I became a Beatlemaniac

It was an early spring day in the year 1995 when I stumbled across a black and white film from the year 1964 which changed my life. Really.

That movie was "A Hard Day's Night" and, to make it short, I saw it and was totally and completely fascinated by The Beatles, their music, their personality, their humor, everything. From that moment on, I became and remained a Beatlemaniac.

Back in the day, I pestered my parents relentlessly until they gave in and purchased my first Beatles album for me... or, rather, cassette: The 20 Greatest Hits. (Which I still own but can't play any longer - it's worn out.) Then came books, magazines, videos, t-shirts, pins, mugs, various other collectibles, posters... well, you get the idea.

So, you see, I owe a great deal to "A Hard Day's Night" - for without it, I wouldn't be the loony I am today. But, more importantly, I would have missed out on the most incredible music ever and I'll always be glad that didn't happen!
