One of the films that the Beatles almost made plus plenty
of Western themed photos is enough of an excuse for this section!
Thanks to the fabulous book The Beatles At the Movies by Roy Carr, the
following information is known:
The intended third Beatle movie was to have been called A Talent For Loving
and would have been an epic Western, based on the novel of the same name by Richard Condon.
The story was actually based on facts and would have seen the Beatles in a historical
film - on a treck between the Rip Grande and Mexico City in 1871. There wouldn't have been any accent changes involved - the
Beatles would have been characters that emigrated to the USA from Liverpool.
To make a long story short, it was obviously shelved, the rumor put to an end by a brief
press statement for the media.

It never happened - but there's no reason not to post various photos featuring The Beatles
in Western gear of some sort, or horseback riding...
