&&& just about every single quote in the ANTHOLOGY. ;)

Marine biologist:
I was really interested in dolphins when I was a child, and hence, I wanted to be a marine biologist to learn more about and save marine animals. Then, I got interested in other things, and in high school took AP Biology, realizing that there was no way this was a job for me.

Interior designer:
Another childhood aspiration. I'd always liked looking at model houses and the way they were decorated, so I thought being able to decorate houses, offices and what not would be an interesting and challenging job. However, I came to realize that Im not creative enough.

Yes, I too once wanted to be an actress. It all stemmed from seeing movies like 'Little Women' and 'Romeo + Juliet' and reading too much Shakespeare. I have no idea why I thought this would be for me, since I hate talking in front of crowds, not to mention cameras. I liked the drama, character development, the idea of being able to delve into a different time... and the idea of nice costumes and working with good-looking actors. ;)

Fashion designer:
I'm interested in fashion, so I started thinking I'd love to design clothes. Actually, I'm still interested in that, but I'm not sure I have what it takes, creativity-wise especially.

Due to the fact that I'm interested in languages, I started wondering what I could do with that. Then, I began to notice that on German TV, for example, they'd have international stars on and the translators would seem so uninvolved and too German ;), so I thought, "Hey, why not be someone who interviews English-speaking people?" Scraped that idea as well, because I'm probably too shy for that.

But for serious publications, not gossip columns and such like. I love writing and that caused me to think that maybe I should do something with that. Who knows, maybe some day...?

Even though I've always envisioned it being quite boring, I'm really interested in all aspects and events in history. I don't know if I'll ever do anything with it, but the interest is always there.
