WHY?
Well, I could make it very short and just say that he's a brilliant actor, seems like a nice person and isn't all too bad on the eyes either. However, I think I'll go into a bit more detail than that...
How did I actually get to be a fan? Well, I admit, it all started back in December 1997, when I was fourteen, and I went to see 'Titanic'. Let's just say: I went back another seven times to see it in the movie theater and I still love to watch it (on DVD). Following this, I went on to video rental places and what not to try and see as many of his movies as possible. And, I came to the conclusion that, well, as repetitive as it may be, he is an absolutely brilliant actor. It seems like a lot of people don't give him credit for that, most likely because it's been overshadowed by the so-called teen idol status following 'Titanic'. If people have that opinion - that's too bad. You're missing out on a great actor.
Anyway, I'll leave it at that for now.
